My Sketching Journey - Inspired by My Grandpa!
Post 1: How My Granpa Inspired Me to Sketch
• Journey – Inspired by My Grandpa
“An art journey that started with a simple pencil and a lot of love!”
• How My Grandpa Inspired Me to Sketch
When I was a child, I used to sit beside my grandpa and watch him draw. His hands moved so effortlessly, and I was fascinated by how a blank page turned into something beautiful.
• I often asked him, “Dadu, how do you do this?”
.• He would smile and say, “Just let your hands follow your heart.”
I loved watching him, but I never really tried drawing myself. It was just something he did, and I admired it from a distance.“Little did I know, one day, I would hold a pencil just like him.
Then came the lockdown during COVID-19. Suddenly, we had so much free time, and I decided to give sketching a try. I picked up a pencil, grabbed an old notebook, and made my first sketch. It wasn’t perfect. In fact, it looked funny! But something inside me wanted to try again.
“Art allows us to see progress and growth. In my next post, I’ll share a special before-and-after sketch to show how practice” makes a difference. Stay tuned”
